Editorial standards
- Every story links to its original sources.
- We attribute facts to the source that reported them and separate facts from explanation.
- We say when a figure is a projection, a proposal or a single report from an unnamed source.
- We do not give medical, legal or financial advice, and we do not rate or review individual facilities.
- Images are stock photography or labeled illustrations and do not show the people or places in a story.
- Commercial content from our owner is labeled and kept separate.
- Each story has one summary line (deck) of 1–2 sentences that adds information not in the headline: who is affected, what changes, or why it matters this week. We never use the publication date as the main fact.
- Every story names its source, links to the original, and gives at least two specific actions under What to do this week, or says plainly that no action is needed.
- When we materially update a story, we show a Last updated time.
